Excursion Day Bucay Cloud Forest & La Esperanza´s Waterfall
The guide will pick up you in the lobby of the hotel ( Hotel pick up inside the urban perimeter of Guayaquil)

Pick up at 8:00 AM. We begin the tour by picking up guests at their hotel. We then head to Bucay, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes away. Upon arrival, we will provide a brief overview of the train station and what this place has to offer. After changing into our appropriate attire for visiting the waterfall, we will begin hiking and then continue to the Gallito de la Peña waterfall and then to La Esperaza waterfall. We will hike for approximately 20 minutes to reach La Esperaza waterfall, where we can enjoy this magical place. Once we have finished our visit to this attraction, we will enjoy a sugarcane juice tasting and visit a local Shuar community. The tour ends and guests will return to their hotel.

We had a great time on the full day trip. Wish we saw some of the wildlife. We were promised a bilingual guide but the guide spoke very little English but we made it work. I would advise the tour company to be forefront on this in the future.

I have to say that we enjoyed the tour and the tour guide was really great. I can not give 5 Stars, because we were told that the tour takes 5hours. Of course the transportation time is included, but we had 1hour transportation and than just a 2 hours hike.

An amazing tour! I did the morning time of the tour and the guides were super knowledgeable and passionate about the animals and environment of the island. We walked the beautiful parts of the island, snorkelled with heaps of fish, sharks, sea lions and saw the iconic blue footed boobies. I would highly recommend for anyone that wants to see the best parts of Santa Cruz

A truly wonderful experience! Even though we had a tight schedule, they knew exactly how to make 23 people feel comfortable and happy, enjoying the snow and climbing Mount Chimborazo.

We had an amazing tour of Guayaquil led by Tony! He was great, knew the history of Guayaquil and was so kind, patient and helpful! We loved every minute of our tour and saw so much - Iguana park, the Cathedral and many important buildings downtown, Malecon 2000 boardwalk, the 444 steps up to the lighthouse and the chapel at the summit, and so much more! 5 star service! We highly recommend Tony!
